As a City Manager appointed, record-keeping officer, the City Finance Director and staff are responsible for the preparation, execution, and archiving of all City Commission documents as prescribed by State law and City Code.
These duties include:

Archiving City Commission documents, official proceedings, ordinances, and resolutions

Maintaining boards and commissions applications and appointments

Administering business licenses

Maintaining City Commission meeting and Commission election materials

Developing agreements and leases
-
Publicizing of legal notices

Recording official documents
-
Transacting the sale of cemetery lots
-
Administering Special Events, Solicitation and Peddlers Permits
-
Providing Human Resource activities for City personnel

Preparing and balancing budgets for all City of Paris Departments
